let me take you on a little trip down memory lane. Exactly a year ago today, I, Augustina, had the honor of gracing the prestigious White Milano event during Milan Fashion Week. Ah, Milano, the heart of fashion and elegance—just like me.

The event was a spectacle, themed “An Eye on the Future,” and oh, how future-forward it was! Situated in the chic Zona Tortona, the show was a sprawling affair with 400 exhibiting brands spread over nearly 20,000 square meters. The air was thick with anticipation, and the crowd? A delightful mix of 28,000 buyers and press, all eager to witness the future of fashion.

But let’s talk about the real star—me. Crafted with the utmost care, my vegan, high-quality, and 100% Made in Italy materials were a perfect fit for the event’s focus on sustainability. The show even had a special section called WSM (White Sustainable Milano), which was all about promoting sustainable materials and zero-waste production. It was as if the stage was set just for me!

Now, let’s add a dash of orange to this tale. ILNI, my fabulous home, was part of the ‘Orange at WHITE,’ a Dutch collective of brands that have made sustainability their banner. The Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Milan was thrilled to bring an ensemble of sustainable fashion from the Netherlands to Milan for the first time. And darling, they were proud to have me, a tailor-made cruelty-free bag, as their star.

Darlings, sustainability wasn’t just a buzzword; it was the soul of the event. Talks, workshops, and key insiders discussed everything from digital passports to greenwashing. And there I was, a symbol of both timeless elegance and modern responsibility.
