We offer a variety of leather-free materials which all come in different colours and/or textures.
When choosing the material, it can help to consider when you will use the bag: daily, semi-daily use or only on special occasions.
Custom Made
Before starting the process of designing your personalized handbag, it is essential to think about the occasions you would like to use your bag. For example, is it intended for a special event, daily use, or work?
Consider the styles and colours in your wardrobe to decide which colour would fit best with your outfits and think about how you will use your bag. Maybe consider how your other handbags are used. Do you like to carry everything or only a few things? Do you use it a lot or only for special occasions?
By understanding what you want, we can better advise you on the best decisions for your new bag.
What to expect next
First, we gather all the materials needed for your bag. This can include Grape- or PU leather and/or fabric from the Milan province, as well as lining from Florence and the IGI-certified lab-grown diamond from the diamond capital of the world, Antwerp.
Our bespoke fittings are handmade by a young Italian firm outside Milan, specialising in fashion accessories design, prototyping, and the production.
We then schedule the work process with our craftsmen. An Augustina handbag requires around six hours of manual labour from 5 -7 Italian craftsmen, each contributing their own skills at every phase of the process.
The precision skills required to inlay the cultured diamond in the silver Lazuli Kingfisher pendant can only be done by a master jeweller. For a diamond cannot simply be glued, as it will lose its sparkle.
Other preparations, taken by our artisans, continue in the Milan studio. Here they measure, and cut the leather and fabric parts to the sizes needed for the final assembly of your handbag.
Our services
If you wish, we will gladly keep you up to date by mail about the progress of your handbag. Ultimately, your bag will be shipped to the provided address through UPS.

The Pendant with Diamond Eye
For our ‘Made to Order’ clients, the inlaid eye of the silver Lazuli Kingfisher pendant is made of a lab-grown diamond, certified by the IGI (The International Gemological Institute).
Lab-grown or cultured diamonds are identical to their naturally occurring counterpart. The top diamond grading bodies in the world, the International Gemological Institute (IGI) and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), both certify that the only difference between the lab and naturally grown diamond is its origin.
The process for grading cultured diamonds is the same as naturally grown diamonds, meaning the gemologist will analyze the stone following the globally accepted standard for diamonds, the four C’s: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat, where the cut is the most important standard.
Lab-grown / cultured diamonds and naturally mined diamonds are not in competition with one another. Both have the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics; they are both beautiful, having the same sparkle. It is worth mentioning that a lab-grown, or cultured diamond, is entirely cruelty-free.
